Hauppauge, NY | March 1, 2022 — Vicon Industries, Inc., a subsidiary of Cemtrex Inc. (Nasdaq: CETX, CETXP, CETXW), designer and manufacturer of video surveillance and access control software, hardware, and components, recently expanded the U.S. Sales Team with the appointment of Steve De Troye as Field Sales Engineer.
DeTroye has extensive industry experience at the manufacturer level as a Field Sales Engineer, with previous roles in consultative sales, system design, service management, and field operations at integrators and electrical contractors.
DeTroye brings a deep understanding of risk management with an emphasis on physical security and systems capabilities. He is a graduate of Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, WI, where he studied Business Administration, graduating magna cum laude. He brings a passion for consulting with customers and end-users and advancing the effectiveness of his sales partners by sharing his technical skills, industry knowledge, and experience.
He is a US Navy veteran, serving six years aboard the USS Arkansas (CGN-41) and USS Essex (LHD-2). Bringing 30 years of life safety and security experience, Steve holds numerous industry certifications and credentials, including CET, PSP, APP, and ACP.
