Vicon hires Kristen Plitt as VP, Customer Success. In this new role, Plitt will lead Vicon’s Inside Sales, Customer Service, Technical Support, and Training groups, uniting them into a single, cohesive Customer Success Team, which will continue to drive Vicon’s focus on customers.
Vicon Industries, Inc., a subsidiary of Cemtrex Inc. (Nasdaq: CETX, CETXP), designer and manufacturer of video surveillance and access control software, hardware, and components, today announced the appointment of Kristen Plitt as Vice President of Customer Success at Vicon Industries.
In this new role, Plitt will lead Vicon’s Inside Sales, Customer Service, Technical Support, and Training groups, uniting them into a single, cohesive Customer Success Team.
A dynamic and accomplished leader in the surveillance industry, Plitt has over 10 years of experience transforming teams at leading companies, including Costar, Schneider Electric, and Pelco. During her tenure at these companies, Kristen held many customer-facing leadership positions, including Global Customer Relations Manager, Global Sales Marketing Manager, Director of Marketing, and most recently, Executive VP of Marketing and Operations.
“I’m looking forward to centralizing Vicon’s internal customer-facing teams under a unified department called Customer Success, which will continue to drive Vicon’s focus on customers,” said Plitt. “We will immediately work together to adopt new processes that create a proactive engagement with our customers and drive additional value for them,” continued Plitt.
Kristen has a proven ability to transform organizations by encouraging collaboration, increasing brand awareness, and keeping the voice of the customer in the forefront of strategic decisions.
