ViconNet 8 video management software (VMS) provides a more efficient system for managing video and has strengthened the level of integration with all open standard devices. ViconNet 8 VMS is now fully integrated with the HDExpress NVRs, Express DVRs and the Vicon Access Control (VAX) system.

New features and functionality of the video management software include:

  • Camera connection indication: An indicator now clearly signals the connection status of each individual camera, ensuring operators know the status of each video stream.
  • New video clip export: The new export wizard ensures fast export of high resolution video clips in either M4 or MKV format.
  • Updated archive wizard: The wizard eases the archiving processes and enables operators to simply select the cameras
  • Sorting tools for camera groups: Users now have more flexibility when creating new camera groups or adding new cameras to groups, by simply moving individual cameras or groups up and down.
