Hauppauge, NY | August 23, 2022 — Vicon Industries, Inc., a subsidiary of Cemtrex Inc. (Nasdaq: CETX, CETXP), designer and manufacturer of video surveillance and access control software, hardware, and components, today announced the appointment of Louis Rabenold as Director of Video Management Software (VMS) Products at Vicon Industries.
In this role, Rabenold will help shape the vision and strategy of Vicon’s acclaimed VMS solution, Valerus, and will be responsible for the roadmap and lifecycle management. He will be instrumental in creating the next generation of innovative video software technology that solves modern problems and advances innovation within the market.
Rabenold brings a sound combination of experience, with over 15 years of technical, sales, product and strategy at leading companies such as Tyco Integrated Security, Avigilon (Motorola) and Johnson Controls. During his time at these positions, he has assisted in developing both the long-term and short-term plans to increase sales and market share.
