Vicon Names Two Territory Managers for Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Georgia and the Carolinas

Hauppauge, NY, February 27, 2007: Vicon Industries Inc., a leading designer and producer of video surveillance systems, has hired two new territory managers to handle sales of its products and systems throughout Kentucky, Georgia, the Carolinas and parts of Illinois and Indiana.

Ross Sexter has over 25 years sales experience working for companies specializing in security and Pro A/V technologies, including electronic surveillance, alarm systems and distributed audio and video. He most recently served as National Accounts Manager for Klipsch Audio Technologies and previously help positions with Best Access Systems, Sensormatic and Rollins Protective Services, all located in Indianapolis. Ross is a graduate of the US Navy Advanced Electronics Program and is a member of ASIS, NFPA, CEDIA and NICET. In his new role at Vicon, Ross will be responsible for sales within the States of Kentucky, Central and Southern Illinois (south of Joliet) and Indiana, with the exception of the northwest corner bordering metropolitan Chicago.

Chris Copeland began his career in Security in 1981 and since then has amassed sales and managerial experience at several security manufacturers and service providers, including Honeywell, NAVCO and, most recently, WFI of Georgia. In these roles, he has worked closely with end-users, consultants, engineers and architects to design and sell electronic security solutions and provided services for many Fortune 500 clients. Chris will be handling sales throughout the states of Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
